I don't mind the decorating so much, it's all the other building / electrical wizardry that I can't do that's putting a spanner in the works here :?

Just choosing everything is stressful.

Had our living room kitchen and dining room done in October, 3 attempts to decide correct fireplace end wall colour!! 3 kitchen options, and curtains and wall lights and rug to choose!!

Then the upheaval for 6 days.

Glad it's done but, rather be doing paperwork that's more my forte!!

Ooo no, love it! Love choosing and happy with a paintbrush or whatever. Can't do technical stuff like Ali says but can decorate.

see there should be a proper (non rip-off, non-cowboy) all singing, all dancing, multi-talented electrician, builder, gas and plumbingy sort of personage on here . . . (s)he'd be gainfully employed throughout the year . . . it's true ;)

I'm sure there are. I know that if you're on the Island - Stu Castles has done some stuff at Jo's and she has no bad words to say.
