Re: Scarborough today
First race today was yesterday's postponed second race. To save time just drivers' surnames.
1. Bell 2.Lambert 3 Harrison 4. Lelias 5 Thirkell 6. Hirst 7 Noble
Atkinson retired following an error by the fuel addition operative. (who compounded his embarrassment by 'falling' over the fence having parked his outfit on Quarry Hill)
First Sunday Race:
1. Harrison 2. Lelias 3.Atkinson 4. Thirkell 5 Lambert 6 Hirst 7. Noble
Bell retired after warm-up lap, jubilee clip loose. Conrad led Greg but Greg had to tour in, crank gone, down to fifth,
Second Sunday race:
1 Bell 2. Harrison 3 Lelias 4. Atkinson 5. Thirkell 6. Hirst 7. Noble
Well done to all for a great weekend's racing. Ian now has 49 OM wins, Conrad now second on the alltime list with 22.
Jim Noble/Shaun Chandler four seconds faster than their previous best. Greg Lambert, just ten days after his fastest ever lap at the S100 in around 20 years, repeated the achievement. And Frank Lelias/Mike Aylott as well as Dave Atkinson/Phil Knapton both joined the sub 2 minute club on their first visit to the Mount. Frank overturned it in the first race, was run over in the aborted second race then finished 4th-2nd-3rd recording faster sub 2 minute laps each time. Quel superstar! And while we're handing out bouquets, would think the spectators' star of the meeting was Conrad's younger son Dean, first outright Scarborough win and two seconds to Ryan Farquhar. Elder son Adrian had a 7th and 4th. Must have this skill from Sammy's genes.......

Re: Scarborough today
Dean had a 'heat' win yesterday, narrowly from 2009 Cock O' The North winner Michael Pearson. In the second leg today he beat Frear and Pearson by around 13 seconds and was drifting it into Mere a la Michael Dunlop. Crowd loved it!
