The TT records show that in 2011 we came home in 27th place :trophy: :dancers: this for us is not about our TT number, it's about our racing dream ...a dream that most people of our age can only "dream of". If in some small way we can make YOU young folk think about what RETIREMENT really is about...we will have done our job. can I just wish ALL our sidecar family a very safe TT and to all the newcomers....ENJOY .....xxxx Annette"

Just to say that if it wasn't for Annette's encouragement, and Paul Lumley arranging for me to have a go driving, I certainly wouldn't have had the bottle to go out and try racing an F2 at the age of 57.

It's slow progress to get up to speed on short circuits, but the TT dream is there for me (and I hope for Claire too). It wouldn't be without you two, so thanks!

Likewise if it wasn't for a conversation with Annette on face book ( and a beer or two) then encouragement from Helen Gibson i would never have thought about doing the TT, Thanks to both and my driver Nigel Smith and the team. :notworthy:

It was a pie in the sky dream for me until I read about Team Pastit's accomplishments. They inspired me to make concrete plans and start taking the first steps towards racing at the TT. I'll be there as pit crew this year to learn as much as I can (and hopefully negotiate the purchase of an F2).
