!)Remember, to avoid any chance of accidents while learning your way round (if you're thinking "I should be on the right side here in 3rd gear"...YOU WILL BE... it's how the brain works, and the oncoming driver will still think it's his bit of road. ). It's very easy to speed through 30 limits (remember someone showing newcomers round ended up in jail for that
), SO...if you let me know I can usually find you a driver who will take you round, taking no part in the learning. This frees you and your mentor, if you have one, or your team-mate, to concentrate on the job in hand. The drivers concerned are as keen as we are on the Sidecar TT and will stop, start, go back... whatever you want.
This is a genuine and generous offer. TAKE IT UP!
If you need accommodation, just ask... there are several people who will happily put you up for free. Put the money saved towards that extra tyre.
