hello everybody,
is anyone out there who has experience with
a short-wheel-base outfit that is hub center steered ?
on what events would it be possible to run this kind of sidecar ?
is there a limit concerning the engine (ccm) ?
looking for info and pics
thanks !
Bernie

Does anybody know,
who once built this kind of frontsuspension/steering ?
should have been in late 70's / early 80's ..................

I think they are banned as being evil or something like that. I raced a Renwick in the late 70's, it was very neat and easy to ride. BTW I believe one may race them in Germany where the burning of Witches was banned centuries ago.

Bernie,it's a pity you didn't take a picture of the whole outfit from the side and that might give us a
better idea.Who made the chassis?

Believe it to be banned in the UK by the 'powers that be' as F2 is an inexpensive class

There was one built that looked just like that in Australia which ran a 600
There were at least three short 1000c hub centre steer bikes here in NZ, I did my first season 11 years ago on one, but they are all steel tube frame

May be there should be an Experimental class for Charriots where anything goes;
Center hub steering,
Chair wheel steering,
Rear wheel steering,
12" wide slick tyres,
900cc Arctic Cat 2 stroke engines.
Any thoughts?
BTW is this CLASSIC for sale?

Oh Bob (he who never answers him PM's.) I stated there should be an
"experimental class," no mention of it being post classic or space shuttle for that matter. Are you just being pedantic for the sake of posting or do you fear progress?

Sorry if I have missed some PMs - not deliberate I assure you!
I am not being pedantic and certainly do not fear progress nor innovation, if you have read some of my other posts, I am firmly in favour of moving away (or adding to) the current F1 or F2 classes.
Please resend PMs and I shall reply ...
