Nice shots. I remember it well. A fine result to finish 6th. Did you win the Vinicombe Trophy that year for the first all British machine home?
My father, Roy, sponsored Bill Cooper and Doug Argent that year. Not sure where they finished, (12th on the road but lost over 3 minutes on the second lap.
Yes that is Norman and Rose. They were number three and started 10 seconds behind Dick and Jim.

Hi Gary. It was Roy Hanks and myself that won the Terry Vinicombe Trophy in '72 when were 6th in both races. All the best Jimmy Mann
