he was with Brian Alflatts camp and this was a surprise 50th party for Speech (even though his b/day was in Feb)

It was a weight put on the bike that weighed the same as the camera gear that the other bikes in the top however many were carrying. Seems a bit OTT having to carry a lump like that when sidecar weights vary so much anyway.

we refused to put ours on , what if it fell off and clocked somebody on the head or went through a radiator of another outfit !!!!! , and like you say our class isnt a weighted class , a baker or shedbourne weighs more than an lcr !!!! , absolute madness !!! , it was the top fifteen, if you didnt have a camera on you had to fit some extra ballast !!!

I know Roy and Dave weren't happy, I don't know if Roy put in an official complaint but the unoffficial one was quite vociferous
