Which should Dude and Mags get, Astra or Audi A3?

Reasons why? Any past agonies with either?

The astra is the lesser of two evils and you won't get branded as a male chicken either!

If they're the Astra's we get here, keep away from them! We work on lots of them at our workshop. I rub my hands together as they come in the driveway!
But then again we've had some A3's with problems as well.

But on the serious note: i hate audi drivers here, they think they own the road and try to push you off.
Even though im already driving 130+ km/h

Pretty much the same here Marjan plus Merc users and anything on German plates

i've not voted for any, because i think the word that starts with S and ends withT about both cars (the word is not seat)

Get anything jap it won't let you down like those crap cars

If the Audi A3 is an A3 2.0 TDI go for the Astra my Lads have an A3 2.0 TDI each and or dear trouble after trouble,even a lad i know who has an mate that works at an Audi dealer garage he says out of all the A3 models the 2.0 TDI has the most problems.The 1.9 TDI i'm told is ok.Petrol A3's i don't know never heard anything about them, as for the Astra i don't know either.

The Audi we are looking at is 1-4 auto
The astra is 1-8 Sri auto

An 1.4 engine in an Audi A3 body i think it will just try to kill it and been auto i think it would swine through fuel
the 1.8 sounds the betterish one of the two.

The Audi is 125 Bhp 7 gears
The Astra is 100 Bhp 6 gears
The Audi is a lot better on fuel
