Dave Molyneaux is the only sidecar mentioned so far on the Auto 66 preview page.
John & Doug Chandler
Dave Hirst & Paul Lowther

It will hopefully be a better entry this year, as the meeting has clashed with British FII rounds at Cadwell for the last two or three years, but isn't doing so this time around.

We're going to give it another go. Blew an engine the last time out two years ago. Hope for the best this time out. As a passenger I really struggled with the chicane on the main straight and as we'll be no where near the best out there I would appreciate any advice for a passenger for those bends.

(farm bends)
Sit against the back wheel going in, if you struggle to cover the right fully; with your hands on your handles ready for the left hander, work the left, then back to where you was on your way out.

Make it easy for yourself if you are struggling to work them all fully. You don't need to cover the right on your way in fully if you are steady away, but as the exit is uphill it will help your driver massively to get the power down and steer if you can get over properly on the exit and give him some front end, as it will wash on as it is uphill!

Thanks to everyone for the reply's and pm's with the tips and offers of help. Unfortunately now I'm not going to make it as my son was hospitalised yesterday and will have to stay in until at least Saturday. Just diagnosed with Type 1 Diabeties out of the blue. He's only 2 1/2 so everthing is up in the air at the moment.

Mick is still going to travel as it's his holidays so if there is any passengers that want a spin around the mount at the weekend make yourselves known. Mick is a very good pilot and we've had no incidents (other than mechanical), in all the years we've been doing it. Even did the island with him in 2009.

Anyway best of luck to everyone going and have a good one.

Aidan.
