I have recently joined the sidecar world racing a early Ireson/ Thundercat in 2008 and am looking for advice and preferances on what would be a good sidecar combination for me to move on to for the 2009 season.
Being new to this scene i would appreciate any advice given as I would not like to waste my time or money on a out dated and un competable outfit. This season I plan to race in the Cheshire centre championship as well as competing at Darley, Aintree and other selected meetings ie MRO, NG. My aim is to graduate to a National licence holder so I can try the FSRA in 2010.
As you can see on the Classifieds there are limited outfits available at the moment but i would appreciate it if any one has any advice on what to keep my eye out for.

Also i have been looking at a 97 Shelbourne with a 06rr motor does anyone have any similar combinations or can anyone give me any information on pos/ neg points of an outfit in this form.

Depending on the age of your Ireson it might be worth talking to Trevor about an engine change.
