anyone know ??
Did they ever get the Ducati F2 sorted?????? And did they race it after the 1993 TT ?????
Was it just that they had to use carbs and had ignition problems why they had 2 dnf's ????

I don't think he raced it again. Can anyone remember what year the twins were banned?
I seem to be remember that he gave up on the project because the twins were going to be banned. I saw him at Cadwell a while ago, he hasn't changed much!

I think the ban came in 1991-92. There was no discussion, it appeared in the ACU handbook, only engines allowed were 350 2 strokes & 600 4 strokes. Saying it was because of the threat from the Ducati's was a load of bol-ocks. It was solely down to the once a year TT being restricted to a cc limit of 600cc.

Hi her daughter;s name is kelly my son Paul Kirby used to do downhill and bsx mountain biking at the kis track at cranham
kelly used to ride there a lot.talking of terry we were at donnington years ago she borrowed a very big battery for her van or something it took me and my passenger to walk it round to them
when she retured it she carried it round by herself as though it was nothing we just hid to hide our embarassment.very strong girl.

Well once again its a small world ... I've been dealing with a guy called Neil from up by Cadwell Pk sorting him out a fairing and seat for his TZ250 A .
We've been chatting for a week before he meantioned his surname was Smith ... So then when I asked if he used to race sidecars he asks my surname .
So we've had a good catch up now .
He still has his Shelbourne and now is getting this TZ250 A out on track as well .

I used to see him when when we raced the outfit on the beach at Mablethorpe in the winter. He was racing solos and still had his outfits - Duke included, but little work and no money! That was a few years ago, but he lives not far from Mablethorpe. Nice guy.
