According to their website, Lydden Hill are running the "Lord of Lydden / Sidecar Burn-Up" on 3rd & 4th October.

Entries will be with the BHR (I think).

We were discussing that at the weekend. British f1 is listed at Silverstone and bemsee at brands. The two fields most likely to attend the burn up busy the same weekend.
77 has said he's going, don't know who else unless they can get the European superside guys to come across

I'm not sure Steve.

I did tell them that the date was crazy, but I think they'd already made their minds up. Gerry Daine at BHR might be able to give you more information if you need it.

Obviously, the same problem exists with solos and possibly even more so with marshals.

It'll be a shame if it turns out to be a damp squib, because they used to be such great events. I'd very much like to restore it to its former glory (actually I'd like to make it even better than it ever was) but that takes planning, investment and a bit of marketing skill. Not something that I personally could contemplate at 7 weeks notice.
BHR may well be able to do better - who knows?

Just to add to the date clashes on the Lydden weekend, CRMC are at Snetterton for the final championship round.
