The idea you have is sound John, keep it simple,2 rules, tubes and carb. Its easier to understand and to police.
Sorry Tony, I misunderstood. I agree, keep the two rules only. Like I have said if someone wants to win at any cost then good luck to them. I do believe that a. this won't happen and b. if someone does build a missile then it won't win at all the tracks or in the rain etc.
Now all I have to do is sell my injected bike to buy the carbed bike I want and I'm sorted.

Merv, I haven't spoken to any others yet as I'd like to give DP first chance. Partly because I spoke to them about it a year or so ago and they were keen then and partly as I like them as a club and would like to see them supported by us sidecar teams more but I will give some others a call.
I can understand why some clubs might not be interested until it's proven to work or not.
Although I've raised the idea, it's not really for me to say we are doing this that or the other. Or maybe it is. I guess someone needs to do at some point. Let's have a natter at croft Merv.
As for 2 strokes. Yes please

I spoke to Lee Heeson of Crewe and South Cheshire Club who run at Tonfanau, and they are willing to stage a round of the Championship. Their meeting on Easter Sunday would be best, as they already have extra classes/races/things happening at all the later rounds. Would this clash with a DP round?
They can put on a separate PI race at the Easter meeting if there are enough entries. If the normal open sidecar entries and the PI entries are less than 12, they would run together, but if more than that, they would run separately. You get two practices and three races - this year's entry fees were £90.
I have had lots of people show interest in a pre-injection class and I am sure it could work.
However, due to the loss of my biggest customer at work I am not in a financial position at the moment to say whether I will be racing next year, let alone what I might race. And because of this I need to concentrate on my business so will have to take a step back from this.
As has already been mentioned in another thread, a proposal has been/will be made to the FSRA to run a pri-injection class for 600's along side the F350 and Post Classic classes. Dave Tibbles is proposing this and for what its worth he has my full support. I can see it bringing a few more to their grids and giving these extra teams a level playing field to compete on.
Sadly this won't include the long tubular carbed 1000cc bikes, but I guess ther isn't anything stopping these running in the club races along side those listed above.
Thanks to those who showed interest and please support Dave if you can.
cheers.
John.
