where are the moderaters now ? SO much for NO PERSONAL INSULTS.
The moderators were already discussing pulling the thread in its entirety as it deviated from the topic instantly. As for the personal insult, if you don't report it we would assume there was none taken.
If you see something REPORT IT using the report button on the post as it explains in the forum guidelines, that gives the moderators a clear cut indication and posts will be dealt with. I've pulled stuff before now and had people ask why as they weren't being serious and no offence was taken by the other party - usually something to do with KEW :P - really can't win as a moderator unless a post is reported.

OK Steve, sorry I did not know about having to report someone to the moderators, I know that not knowing the rules is no excuse, so please pardon my ignorance, I hope that this is the end of a very unnecessary and unpleasant personal attack by the other person involved, upon me.

Tony Foale had a workshop in Maidstone in the early 70,s. Yours truly lives in Maidstone and I WAS this afternoon looking for some photos of his Bikes, he also made Solo frames . But after reading of Mr Michel,s reply to Mr Trident I gave up. You moderaters did the best thing in deleting it.

It's not deleted Den, it's been moved to moderators. A subtle difference 8-) but can be useful later.

For everyone's interest though if you have anything please post it :D

I seem to remember one of these creations or something very like it, in the hands of somebody like, Dave Bexley, Rodger Aldous or even perhaps Dick Hawes, if so, one of them may have photos if it helps. sorry for spoiling the fun and getting back on topic :offtopic:

I remember Andy Jackson racing at Gaydon with the North Gloucester Club but I did not know the KGB was center Hub, I do remember it had wheels from a Tyrell F1.

Bill Cooper made a few outfits with Difazio hub centre steering .We ran one in 78/79. Did my first Southern in 79 on it. A bit heavy to steer with a Z1000 motor. ;) Had a green spot type tyre if i remember correctly.

hi Dave Bexley did in fact race a 750 Honda with centre hub steering it was a renwick the first production one after the prototype and the boret,s konig version, raced i believe under the Hadleigh custom banner but John Renwick is quoted as saying the engine was to heavy for the concept although Dave Bexley had a fair amount of success on it before i believe he built a conventional outfit. I have recently obtained what i believe is possibly his old oufit which has at some time been converted to house a Konig engine i am in the process of restoring it as a Konig version with no intent on racing it, but to show it and demo it at things like the bikers classic along side the recentley completed Seeley Konig 500 and Daval Konig 750. I believe that although the oufit is not eligible to race in this country restoration of these ground breaking machines shouldn't be discouraged regards KONIG FREAK

:notworthy: I remember Dave Bexley and the Hadleigh Customs bikes. I wasn't old enough to be let loose with a camera back then but I do remember the colours :D
Here's one for Bob which I hope is not off topic. The big guy with curly hair that rode something similar at the time, something devillish maybe about the name of the bike but it escapes me. Not Satan, maybe started with an O. If it's off topic do excuse me but he was one of my heroes as a kid along with Alf Whisker (sp?)
