Okay Bob your on side that's good, I checked I sent you PM's on the French site not here. I believe that there should be a formula to promote development and innovation so that those shed dwellers get a chance to air their ideas.
The only rules I would advocate would be;

If the outfit in the pics was constructed before 1981,it IS eligible to race in the UK FSRA post classic class,complete with hubctr steering.BTW just a guess but looks very similar to the ex Rolf Biland/George Odell Seymaz?

Tony, maybe a silly question, but would a Renwick Konig replica as built in the early '70s be allowed to race with the FSRA...?? Would a conventional framed Kettle, GT750 engined outfit be allowed to race with them...???

Not a silly question at all,first the easy one.

Bdk racing has already raced a conventional framed kettle in the class,I was in the same race at Cadwell,and Im building one to sell next year,I have a 1981ish,Ireson Tz750 chassis,complete with original style fibreglass,and a Gt750 to go in it.I shall hopefully be shaking the outfit down in this class before sale.

The Renwick,original yes,replica no.However a)how would you identify it as a replica and,
B)they are struglling to get outfits on the grid at the moment,so,they are
unlikely to turn a replica away.

Correct Tony, bring out the replicas, be they F350 or Post Classic, come on!

There are 2 in Australia with a 3rd on the way. Both are F1 (Blueybuilt). One was built in Western Australia by Rick Hanger and ran a 600 although it was never officially allowed to run. Doug Chivas built one. It is now in New Zealand. It was called the banana bike. ie a sideways V. front and back end off the normal way (LCR style, rear engine also) but the chair wheel also was attached to the main chassis. Great little bike. Won many races.
