As am old git that struggles at times with all this stuff I don't even know if anyone reads this anymore.
From that I say if you find it worthwhile post it somewhere people will read it.
I was lucky enough to race in the day's when sidecars we're paid on the same scale as the 500cc racers if the day.
We didn't have their big sponsorship deals but managed to pay our way from week to week.
Over time that was very quickly an eroded thing of the past.
We now face the final curtain.
The real road racing.
Until this week it has been the only place that has offered a semblance of financial respect to our combined efforts.
If we are to survive there needs to be a concensus & a renewal.
Chassis design needs to change.
For too many years on real roads it has gone completely in the wrong direction.
We need someone in the Ireson mould that will build a chassis with a purpose.
If we don't that last moment is over.
Riders can force that change.

Re: If ever
I don't think that the chassis design is the problem.
Aerodynamics seem to be the cause of the problems currently being experienced.

Re: If ever
I agree it was almost identical to Pete and Jevans the other year. I think it's an aerodynamic problem with the speeds they are hitting they both just lifted up when they got some air underneath.I also think it was the correct decision no matter how passionate you are about the sidecars, something needs to be done.
