Passenger height and weight

Unread post by alternat3 »

Bit of a random one, I'm looking at becoming a sidecar passenger for next season and obviously height / weight is a consideration. I'm 6'2" and about 80kg. Would this be an issue or if you're good enough does it not matter  cheers

James Neave must be about 6ft 5inches (ish) tall. At a guess I'd say he's probably your weight too. You'll be hard pushed to find a more respected or proficient passenger. There are other passengers who are also taller than you and about your weight, it seems that it's more important that they move well, have good timing and can get themselves out of the wind when needed and basically getting themselves comfy on the outfit, if anyone is ever comfy on an outfit that is.
I wouldn't let your size put you off.

Sounds ideal to me.

80kg is decent and the higher you are the further you can reach. As long as the length of your arms match your height

I'm a few kilos less, and about 3 inches. It's no issue
You'll be fine

James (juggy) neave is a tall lad as said, as is Gregory cluz, I'm 6"2" it won't be a problem in fact it should make you a smoother passenger on the sidecar, good luck, its a right blast 😁
