Ride height adjustment

Unread post by Mcyivor »

Hi all.
I have BLR outfit, with no ride height adjustment,I have to set it with springs adjusted up very tight.
My problem is on certain track with uneven surfaces my passanger is literally bouncing out of the chair.
If I soften the spring rate the rear sprocket hits off the camber rod.
Any body any ideas.
Thanks Paddy.

Take it to someone like Simon Christie or Paul Lumley to alter it. They'll either move the mounts or have a better idea how to fix it. :-)

Wasn't there another manufacturer who used the name "B.L.R." some years ago"? I don't think the bike pictured is one of the B.L.R. outfits manufactured by Rod.

Correct Tim, Benny Lyson (spelling may not be correct), a Danish driver built some monocoque chassis a long time ago, looks like this may be one of them.

The chassis is defo not a conventional chassis, can you put a pic up of the rest of the chassis?
There seems like a crack in the chassis to the left of the rain light?

Nice light. 8-)
The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.

But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.

The crack is where I welded and didn't grind it all back.
