Not sure where you are located but the British F2 sidecar teams are all racing at Castle Combe in Wiltshire on June 27/28 and then at Anglesey on July 25/26 if you get along to either of those rounds you will get good sound advice from the teams which are competing.
If you can make either give me a ring on the day on 07971821850 and I will introduce them to you.
Regards Pat

^^^ Gav if you can make it do take Pat up on the offer.
You won't get a better introduction to racing.

Re: help and info all welcome
I'm Phil's passenger and most of my life over the past two years has been booked off! I don't regret it at all and nor will you.
I only started as a passenger three years ago (with Marianne Walford, who posted the helpful advice, many thanks) and this year I realised a life-time dream, racing on the IOM at the Pre-TT Classic, which just goes to show that anything is possible.
I would recommend getting to a BHR meeting if you can. Everyone is friendly and helpful, socialising is the paddock is fun, taxi rides are happening at three of our meetings and the BEARs sidecar class is the ideal entry level for someone who wants to try it out on a cheap and easy basis. However, other clubs are available and everyone in the sidecar paddock will be helpful and approachable, especially if you bring cake! I have never had anything other than a warm welcome from my sidecar friends.
