Numbers are not only for timekeepers, Marshals need to be able to see them in order to identify any machine which may be cause of concern and the paying public also like to know who is who. You never know peeps your next sponsor may be watching.

......and you also need the number so you can find your bike in pit lane and the holding bay area, it does get rather crowded in those places you know :thumbup:

You write it in indelible ink on your passenger's forehead ;) and on the back of their neck too in case they rub it off when they are banging their head against the wall [brick.gif]..........and try not to change passenger :roll:

I just used to follow all the other slidey people Geoff, you either get to the pit lane or the beer tent :beer:. If it's the first it's ok, if it's the second it's......well.... [chug.gif]
