Parking Disks
The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.
But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.

No, you have to pay to park anywhere in York. And now they are talking of a congestion charge too.
Parking discs are used in the I.o.M. and quite a few smaller market towns over here though still.

I wonder what the politicians will do when York becomes a total ghost town. What a set of cretins.Big Tim wrote:No, you have to pay to park anywhere in York. And now they are talking of a congestion charge too.
So how long have I had these voices in my head, I hear you ask?

York is already becoming a ghost town, it's only held together by tourist trade. l have a few places in York where l park on double yellow lines. Looked into it carefully and a lot of the lines are not legal ie they do not conform to the road traffic act. Had quite a few penalty notices but so far beaten them all.
