From Mike

FIM Sidecar World Championship - Entries are now Open

You all now need to declare your intentions on the Entry Website here:

https://www.fim-world-sidecar.com/register-enter/

The original Press Release is attached with the confirmed Series dates.

If you were entered here in 2021 – you can access your info using your past login details.

Entry Fees are held at E250 per round – you must ensure a debit/credit card is lodged with the Series Admin, Mike Dommett – mikedommett@hotmail.com – WhatsApp +44 7970963572

Payments will be taken based on your entry declarations online, 1-3 weeks from each round. Cash payments at the circuit are not possible. Please get in touch with your details.

FIM Technical Regulations for this year’s Series are attached – also HERE on the FIM website.

No changes to mechanical rules in 2022 – Avon Tyres will be the sole tyre supplier for the season (still subject to contracts being signed).

Licences - please proceed with applying for your FIM Sidecar World Championship Licences via your own National Federation.

Team Licences -From 2022, the team licence will no longer be required.

Info on FIM Rider Insurance is attached - if your Federation is included in the scheme, this will be part of your cover once you have your World Championship Licence. The following Federations have opted out of this scheme, meaning you must arrange separate repatriation insurance separately via your local Federation if they are opted-out:

Germany, Holland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic

For British Teams - Please see attached info on the Carnet arrangements.

A series website has been created by RKB Motorsport here: https://rkb-f1-sidecars.com/

The site covers both the British and World Series for 2022.

We would be grateful if teams could compete their profiles (CLICK HERE) and submit the info back to the contact on the form. It's important we also self-publicise these events as many journalists and fans use this as a source of Team info.

Hope to see you at Le Mans in April!!
