Sidecar stand ideas

Unread post by Dewiwms »

Good Evening
Im completely new to the world of sidecar racing.
Just bought my first outfit yesterday.
What do people use as a stand in the garage to work on it?
I was thinking of a steel table with castors on it. Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

Saw horses ,. if it's f1 or f2. Not sure about BEARS.

Lift the back up first, ( 2 or 3 person job as one lifts and the other puts the stand under ) just in front of the back wheel about a foot and a bit forward.. then get the front up and put the other under between the chair wheel and the front wheel.
If you have a strong roof hoists are good for one person to do it alone

buy builders hop ups like in the kershaw photo. they do the job, and are more stable and more useful for other things than purpose built stands. (still got mine 12 years later)
