I see they are advertising Chimay Classics 16/17/18 July are we allowed through France without self isolating when we get home ?

Nope - France and Belgium are on the amber list. So on your return you need to self isolate for 10 days as well as booking and paying for covid tests.

as far as i have been told they are not accepting british entrie's

You will also have to isolate when you enter France. (I think for 14 days)
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

Plus you will need an ATA Carnet for your race machine, spares and tools etc., (£240) and around £3k insurance (which you do get back if everything returned).
Doesn't work out too badly if you do 5 or more meetings...

as our governing body of motorcycling why is the acu not trying to sort a fair deal on this carnet situation because as it now stands just about half the teams that race abroad using acu licences and acu insurance will just not be able to afford it
