hi, I am trying to build a replica of a Renwick Konig. Are you able to help with any pics of the chassis without bodywork.
Regards, ian

Re: TT
That's a shame. A lot of new thinking involved in the design and construction of that outfit. I was looking forward to following their progress. Hope it turns up at other meetings soon.

Re: F2 chassis dimensions
I'd be moving the engine forward. I have a p5 with a GSX1100 which we recently measured up against a 2012 LCR and they were almost identical in all dimensions. I assume you meant that your engine is 26" from the crankshaft to the front wheel spindle. Both mine and the LCR we measured were 23"from ...

Re: Philip Island 24-26 Jan
Phillip Island circuit IS great and just up the road there is a pub called The Isle Of Wight where they sell real Aussie beer not the weak stuff you poor blokes have to drink.

Re: Philip Island 24-26 Jan
I would love nothing more than to get a few of you blokes out here to ride in the Island classic. Phillip Island circuit is off the planet fast. My 1980 GSX1166cc Suzuki pulled 218kmh (135mph through turn one) and the rest of it is just as fast, Come on guys lets get something happening. Anyone ...

Re: Sidecar building 101
Damo, I agree with Duncan. Buy an old P4 or pr5 and have a go on that. Make a few modifications, improve it a bit and once you know what you are doing then start building one. They are seriously weird things sidecars. The difference between building a rocket and something that might be dangerous is ...

Re: Derbyshire chassis question
I currently have a 1984 gsx1100 outfit that had the front wheel approx. 1/2" off to one side. when I first saw it I said to myself that must be changed, the front wheel must be dead centre or else it will do weird things, like a drunken shopping trolley. I had new rim halves spun up , machined the ...
