Unknown driver
This picture was taken in 1987 in Zandvoort, Holland. The meeting was an international meeting and I think the driver in the picture is from the UK.

Very sad news indeed. What is left are many good memories of the great times I had with Dick. He won't be forgotten. R.I.P. Dick.

As far as I know it is a Granada rotor. Forget about the 5 bolt holes, that bit is cut off anyway. The Granada rotor needs to be machined to fit your outfit. The slots and holes in the rotor shown in Steve's pictures are not standard. Early LCR's also used Granada rotors. I used rotors from a ...

Yesterday was Harry's send-off in style. Harry was accompanied from his home to the crematorium by an escort of many bikers and at the crematorium nine classic racing outfits were lined up on the roadside. A massive crowd had turned up to show their respect.

Sad to hear about "monsieur Schmit" as we used to call him. I remember him signing on sidecarteams at other events for the race on "his" circuit.
Many good memories. R.I.P. monsieur Schmit.

Re: unknown sidecar
I bought this outfit in 1981 but it looked quite different then. It had 10" wheels on front and side and a 13" on the rear and I bought it complete with a Suzuki GT 750 engine. No idea who built it but the guy I bought it from told me it was built in England. After 1982 I made a lot of changes to ...

Re: Peter Lemstra, Hans Peters and Jos van Steklenburg.
The Dutch Hans Peters died some years ago. There was also a German sidecar racer with the same name. Maybe you met him, Eckart. Jos van Stekelenburg lives in Pernis, near Rotterdam.
Lemstra's manager Kees Leijdekkers also doesn't live anymore.
