Re: RIP Gary Golder
Gary was one of my friends I am really sad to hear of his passing. I got to know him when we both started racing 350 F2s and over the years grew to respect him as a skilled rider, and a great character. He had Jimmy Webb in the chair at the time, we had some great duels together on the track, always ...

I have just booked a crossing from Dover to Calais to travel to Croix in April. Cost with PO ferries £400.00 I have also booked the same vehicle a 7.5t truck and number of passengers to go across to the IOM in May cost £450.00. Compared to crossing 22 miles of Le Manche this seems good value to me.

Re: Where have all the tyres gone?
Hi Tony, The 16" outfits running Moorespeed Shortstoke 750s do two sets of tyres every three meetings and a chair tyre maybe every four. The corner speed and drift is more extreme than the fat bikes.

Mowgli is Ace !! It's a pity there are not more young people interested in Engineering, instead of sitting in front of a screen whenever they can.

Re: Where have all the tyres gone?
Dunlop have transferred production to France. I presume because there is a bigger demand for their tyres over there. They have not started production as yet. The shortage in the UK has been caused by panic buying, with reports of up to 8 pairs at a time being purchased over the closed season.
