Re: RIP Gary Golder

What can I say about Gary. I was first introduced to Gary when I was 13 or 14 by my dad who knew Gary and his mum (who lived just round the corner to us) I was instantly intrigued by sidecars. From around the age of 8 I spent most weekends at Brands or Lydden whenever there was a bike meeting at eit...

Had my Op on Friday. The wound was dressed but I've been put in a backslab for 2 weeks, and after review this might be extended to 4 weeks.

Re: Wrist Fracture

Cheers Andrew, thanks for the feedback. I've got private medical cover through work, they've confirmed if there's a delay in surgery and consultant also does private then they will cover it. Also I can self authorise any physio I need.

Wrist Fracture

Anyone had their wrist plated?

Whats the after care? After the op do they still put you in a cast or do you just get a wound dressing over the incision? Obviously no heavy work but would I still be able to drive a car?

Remembering Ray English

My thoughts are with the whole English family today.

17 years ago we lost Ray, one of the most genuine guys around the paddock, always had a smile on his face and was always happy to help anybody.

Re: 2017 Hyundai Heavy Industries British F1 and 600 Cup Registration List.

Hmmm what's to say tyres are brought at a different meeting, scrubbed in and then classify as used tyres.

Also what if rains in one race and is dry in another, at the next meeting a min of 6 tyres may be needed.

Re: Guy Lowe

Just seen this. I remember the very first words i heard Guy say. It was in the queue to scrutineering at Snetterton early one morning, he looked under John's fairing and said "fucking hell, it's a Krauser!"

RIP mate.

Check the F2's 92 & 93 don't think Abbo or Webbo rode F2's, let alone become champs.

Re: Leicester Uni to work on Birchall F2 Aerodynamics.

Surely for a full and true CFD analysis the should have the whole bike (to include under flow) as well as ideally Tom and Ben on the bike so that it can be seen where the airflow is interupted.

A certain Mr Dixon never had problems switching between solo's and sidecars at the same meeting.
