Re: New rules on age of sidecar frames

Is this rule going to be announced 6 weeks before TT2017 by the faceless Race Management Commitee.
The vast majority of chassis that suffered cracks this year were swiss fondues, so it seems that competitors with suitable i.e. tubular, bronze welded are going to suffer for no reason.

Re: TT Attack...What's the point.

100% agree Fitz, it has bog all to do with bike racing, what happens when it goes pear shaped and takes out a hedge full of spectators?
I would be curious how well Paul Phillips and the risk assessment would stand up in coroners court.

Re: Gemini sidecars

I stand corrected Martin, did Watts & Onions not manufacture flat chassis once upon a time, tradesmen floats etc?

Re: Gemini sidecars

Pete, your Gemini should have a flat Watsonian chassis, i.e. a rectangular (with rounded corners) chassi, the front tube extends towards the bike as does one about 10" from the back of the chassi to enable fitting with clamp mounts.
The chassis would have been fitted with an Indespension unit ...

Are non available from the Racket Andy. All the speculative bookings should be available now - had to be paid for by end of February.

Sure SIM cards don't suffer the lack of use problem I am led to believe.
But I've been led to drink!
I'm sure that Jo could confirm.
