Re: Bran Bardsley
Bran and his dear wife were the epitome of kindness to so many in the paddock and his passing is very sad. We were at an all time low having lost our bike in a fire during the TT when for no other reason than generosity he gave us his brand new Ireson complete and ready to race. The stories that fol...

Re: Standard cylinder heads; much difference?
Ah I hear the sound of 680 konigs & 700 Yamahas qualifying in the G.P's in the ( so called ) good old days. How many didn't use them Ed. The question should maybe be how many did use them. As it was said at the time when abroad , it's a long way to go for nowt.

Re: Carl Fenwick and Conrad Harrison
The TT all about tradition or what. We had a fire in the eighties ( which I'm sure Pat will remember ) & still there ar marshall points without working fire extinguishers. We lost everything & without the help of Bran Bardsley would not have been able to carry on. Hopefully the lads did not ...

Re: Speed Trap
Many moons ago we did 153 through the old trap at the Highlander. All that proved was that for a good lap we had f$"&^!d up our gearing. So it's not the be all & end all. Look for the men with the trophy tommorrow...........

Re: Are you going to the TT?
Cat , I reckon it will be about the beggining of June next year but exact dates should be checked . I also reckon it's time the lads had a go at it . Once in a lifetime can't be missed . If only anyone can manage it only the once !!!!!!!
