Re: Dwindling grids!!

The july meeting at tonfanau ran with no sidecars. A sad day as there have been sidecars there since day 1. One driver enquired by phone but no one entered. Seems like end of sidecar racing there unless a lot of people enter the final meeting of the year in august.

Re: Cadwell today

The abandoned race was eventually run at the end of the day but with a diminished field. The greenwood device is apparently number 3 of 6 which were built in the day and has a credible provenance. Worth having a chat with current owner Gordon White. Look forward to seeing you race with BSSO next yea...

3 races won by Metalface and Adam followed by team Lick. All done for this year and just survived. More entries needed next year or the venue will be lost.

Re: tonfanau july

only 3 entered so far. most solo grids are oversubscribed. Would be a sad day if the venue is lost to sidecars but does not look good.

tonfanau july

For the remaining 2 meetings at this Welsh seaside track, we desperately need some sidecars to enter. Yesterday we had only 5 entries, one of which never participated due to problems with a spindle. The bottom line is this is not sustainable as there were solo riders turned away as classes are overs...

Re: TT number plates

Numbers are not only for timekeepers, Marshals need to be able to see them in order to identify any machine which may be cause of concern and the paying public also like to know who is who. You never know peeps your next sponsor may be watching.
