    Lee Crawford and Patrick Farrance made it a clean sweep of wins to tie up the N.E.M.C.R.C. championship at East Fortune on the 8th and 9th October, also taking the honours for the first running of the "Ian Bell Memorial Trophy", decided as an aggregate result of all four races over the weekend for F2 sidecar competitors.

    Lee Crawford and Patrick Farrance continued their run of podium-finishing form at Croft Circuit on the 27th and 28th August in the penultimate round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship, but had to settle for the runners up position in both encounters, as newly-crowned champions Pete Founds / Jevan Walmsley took a double win.

    The A.C.U./F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship entered the second half of its season at Cadwell Park last weekend - a favourite venue for competitors and spectators alike. The Lincolnshire circuit is one which has been a happy hunting ground for Team A.R.C. - with three British Championship podium places (including a win in 2015), numerous club wins and the Auto 66 Club F2 sidecar lap record - it was clear that the Newton Aycliffe based team would be considered amongst the favourites for honours at this meeting.

    Following a seven week break to accommodate the Isle of Man TT, the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship campaign resumed at Anglesey Circuit, North Wales on the 25th and 26th June. On the back of a hat-trick of podium finishes at Oliver's Mount the previous weekend, Newton Aycliffe-based Team A.R.C. arrived full of optimism in the hope of closing the gap to the championship leaders.

    Lee Crawford and Sam Christie once again impressed at Oliver's Mount, with three podium placings at the recent "Cock O'The North Continental Road Races". Representing "Team A.R.C." the pairing took two third place finishes, and a runners up position despite having to start from the back of the grid due to technical issues during qualifying.

    Lee Crawford and Patrick Farrance took a runners up position in the opening race in the second round of the A.C.U./F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship meeting at Donington Park on the 7th May, and looked set to repeat the feat on the following day, until they were cruelly denied by an engine failure on the final lap of the event.

    Lee Crawford and Sam Christie once again impressed as the "real road racing" season got underway, in a severely disrupted weekend of racing at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough, eventually claiming two runners up placings and two fastest laps; the second of which being their personal best time to date around the picturesque seaside circuit.

    Lee Crawford and Sam Christie proved untouchable at B.M.C.R.C.'s Donington Park meeting over the weekend of 9th/10th April, with a hat-trick of wins and new club and outright lap records for the Donington Park G.P. circuit, as Team A.R.C. continued their impressive start to the 2016 season.

    Team A.R.C. had cause for celebration after retaining the prestigious "Mac Hobson Trophy" over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd April at the N.E.M.C.R.C. meeting at Croft Circuit, becoming the first team for almost a quarter of a century to achieve this feat. Croft has been a happy hunting ground for driver Lee Crawford and passenger Patrick Farrance in recent years, taking a win and a second place at last years F.S.R.A./A.C.U. British F2 Championship meeting, and they have continued this form into 2016.

    Lee Crawford, with Daryl Gibson alongside him, totally dominated the F2 Sidecar class at the Auto 66 Sidecar Bonanza, an event which attracted nearly seventy sidecar entries, producing "A & B Finals" in the modern classes. The pair took four outstanding wins from the same number of starts, and in doing so, retained the Auto 66 Club Championship, which Team A.R.C. had won for the first time in the 2014 season.
