Lee Crawford and Sam Christie once again impressed as the "real road racing" season got underway, in a severely disrupted weekend of racing at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough, eventually claiming two runners up placings and two fastest laps; the second of which being their personal best time to date around the picturesque seaside circuit.

Knaresborough sidecar racers John Chandler and Karl Schofield have enjoyed a successful year, having joined forces half way through the season aboard their Shelbourne Yamaha outfit. Taking a runners up placing in the Darley Moor Championship (despite missing half of the rounds), and having a trouble-free week at the Southern 100 races on the Isle of Man, they are looking to build on these results for 2016.

Lee Crawford, with Daryl Gibson alongside him, totally dominated the F2 Sidecar class at the Auto 66 Sidecar Bonanza, an event which attracted nearly seventy sidecar entries, producing "A & B Finals" in the modern classes. The pair took four outstanding wins from the same number of starts, and in doing so, retained the Auto 66 Club Championship, which Team A.R.C. had won for the first time in the 2014 season.

After a dominant performance at the Scarborough International Gold Cup Races, where he won no less than five races, including the "Cock O'The North" and "Steve Henshaw Gold Cup" trophies; Dean Harrison has opted to end the domestic racing season on three wheels, making his sidecar racing debut at the Auto 66 Club's end of season "Bonanza" meeting.

  • Auto66logoThe Auto 66 Club will once again be hosting their annual end of season "Bonanza" meeting at Cadwell Park on the full circuit, over the weekend of the 24th and 25th October. Following the success of last years "Sidecar Bash", this will once again be incorporated for all classes of sidecars; further good news is that entry fees have been lowered this year.

More details will be made in available in the next week, but entries are open and are coming in steadily; click "Read More" for further details.
