The picturesque and historic Mallory Park will be the venue and the date is confirmed as the 30/31st July. The event is to coincide with the traditional Mallory Bike Bonanza, and the celebration of sixty years of racing at the Leicestershire circuit. Sidecars are to have premier billing, with two twenty-lap races on the Sunday, as well as extensive practice and qualifying sessions. Also expect to see historic and classic sidecars parade round the track at regular intervals.

GLENN WALSH HAS ASKED ME TO BUMP THIS UP - THE ORGANISERS WILL NEED TO KNOW NUMBERS VERY SOON, DON'T LEAVE IT TIL LAST MINUTE PLEASE!!

Please note! The evening is open not just to teams and their families, but anyone who wishes to have a fun evening in the company of some of the best sidecar racers in the UK - so please do read!

Now the hectic season has come to an end, it is time to think ahead and plan. The RKB-F1 Motorsport team is deeply involved in the season ahead. There is much to do with various negotiations on the sponsorship front, BSB teams are sniffing to be involved, and even one or two celebrity solo riders have expressed interest in piloting an F1 outfit. Clearly, the up-coming year is going to be a season to remember for many reasons. Not least of all the attendance of all the top teams from the UK on some very interesting machinery.

YOU can rub shoulders with the great and good (and the not so good) by joining us at the awards evening for the 2015 championship. We will be recognising a terrific year by a worthy pair of young champions, and many other stellar performances.

Ben and Tom Birchall travelled to Brands Hatch to further their development of the LCR Honda 600 outfit by competing in the final round of the British F1 Sidecar championship at the Kent circuit resulting in two top 20 finishes.

Starting from a sixth row grid position for the start of the first race the start was delayed to allow for a shower of rain to pass through. Subsequently the race was reduced in distance from the scheduled 10 laps down to six.

Race One – from pole position, Andy Peach and Charlie Richardson were all set to fire the L&W Racing Kawasaki ahead, and did so on the run down to turn one. From second on the grid, Tim Reeves/Greg Cluze (Team E-Aide Motorsport Remse Yamaha) thundered behind and eventually alongside with a brave move at Becketts. Series leaders Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood knew what they had to do and got stuck in behind Peach.

After a long summer break, the British F1 Sidecar Championship returns to The Netherlands and the world famous Assen circuit, to resume battle in the 2015 series over the weekend of 18-20th September. It will be a particularly crowded grid, as once again the ranks will be swelled by a strong national contingent of Dutch Championship regulars.

The AOS Be Wiser Kawasaki duo of Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood are on course to lift their first British title, and will be looking to continue the rich vein of form which has seen them take victory in eight of the thirteen races so far. Second in the title chase are Andy Peach and Charlie Richardson (L&W Kawasaki) with a seventy-two point deficit, and just two victories to their names. Next up, comes the Express Tyres pairing of Steve Kershaw and Rob Wilson, ahead of an in-form Ben Holland/Lee Watson (Finning Cat Kawasaki) and former champion Roger Lovelock/Aki Alto who was forced to sit out three races at Thruxton.
