Ten Rounds, a brand-new Sidecar Revival event and increased opportunities for 600's in 2018.
At a meeting last week, the organisational team headed by Roger Body arrived at the final framework for the championship going into the 2018 season.
A ten round championship is planned, nine of which will again be alongside the British Superbike Championship, with a tenth round to be stand-alone at the famous Cadwell Park circuit over the weekend of 23/24th June.
This event will be known as “The Sidecar Revival” with a full programme featuring Sidecar Grand Prix Legends, sidecar classics, F2 outfits and a line-up of interesting solos.
The chance to see the likes of Steve Webster, Steve Abbott, Rolf Biland and Alain Michel back on track will indeed be one to relish.
The event will contain three Hyundai Heavy Industries Championship races.

All races will count towards the title chase, with double points once again up for grabs in the finale.
Prime race times have been negotiated with Motorsport Vision, which will see the Sunday afternoon race between the two main Superbike races, thus giving prime TV viewing courtesy of Eurosport.
The final race of the season, will be mid-afternoon on the Sunday at Brands Hatch.
Other exciting developments include a modification of the rules to allow 600cc competitors to score points in the main championship as well as their 600 Cup table.
This allows for those crews with two machines the opportunity to use either throughout the season, but only one per meeting. That would be the machine on which they entered and qualified. This is seen as a major move towards recognition of those teams who campaign a 600 in the FIM World Championship, but with a desire to register strongly in the premier domestic series too.
Basic rules and regulations are unchanged, with the premier class continuing to be focussed on 1000cc machines, but now with the added opportunity for 600's to compete on level terms
Emphasis is very much again on profile, appearance in the paddock and on-track, and generally continuing the upward trend of this thrilling series.
