September has proved to be the busiest month of the year for Team A.R.C., during which time they have competed on four consecutive weekends. Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie won the inaugural "Marin Cup" (Scottish Sidecar Championship), with four F2 wins at the Jock Taylor Trophy meeting at Knockhill at the start of the month. They then completed their A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Championship campaign with events at Mallory Park and Cadwell Park respectively. Finally, they rounded off in style with a brace of wins at Oliver's Mount, in a meeting which sadly concluded early owing to incidents in solo events. Team mates John and Jake Lowther competed only at Scarborough, themselves taking two podium positions to continue their impressive form at the seaside circuit.

The seventh and final round of the 2017 A.C.U./F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship took place over the weekend of 16th and 17th September at Cadwell Park. The British F2 Sidecar Championship had already been decided at the penultimate round at Mallory Park, with Team Founds Racing Pete Founds / Jevan Walmsley securing back to back titles. However, the British F2 Cup class was still up for the taking.

The penultimate round of the 2017 ACU/FSRA British Formula two sidecar championship took place over the weekend of the 9th/10 September at the “Friendly Circuit” Mallory Park. The forecast for the weekend was looking rather drab to say the very least.

This coming weekend (16th and 17th September) sees the final round of the 2017 A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship. This will be the third time this season that the teams get to enjoy Cadwell Park. This past weekend saw the pairing of Team Founds Racing Peter Founds / Jevan Walmsley secure the 2017 British Championship defending the title they first won last year, after taking second place in race one and winning the second race. They are now eighty points clear of Team Ramsden Racing's Steve and Matty Ramsden.

Welcome to the preview of the penultimate round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. Formula Two British Sidecar Championship, hosted for the first time in seven years with the East Midlands Racing Association at “the friendly circuit” Mallory Park.

On Saturday 9th September, there will be a free practice session and qualifying for the two races, which will be taking place on Sunday 10th September.

The weekend of the 5th and 6th August saw the fifth round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. F2 Sidecar Championship hosted for the second time this season with the Auto 66 Club at Cadwell Park.

Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie enjoyed a welcome upturn in fortunes at Cadwell Park in the fifth round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship, following a visit to Anglesey for round four the previous weekend which had proved somewhat frustrating. Their team mates, John and Jake Lowther had a more productive trip to North Wales, but less so at their "home circuit" in Lincolnshire.

The fourth round of the 2017 A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship took place this past weekend after an eleven week break, on the 1.55 mile coastal circuit of Anglesey. This round would see the F2 Cup championship lead change hands and mixed fortunes for Peter Founds / Jevan Walmsley.

T.L. - I know this may seem a bit "premature" given the race report from Anglesey has yet to be published. However, with tight programme deadlines to work to, Mark had to write a piece prior to round four, due to there being "back to back" championship events on consecutive weekends.

Welcome to the preview for the fifth round of the A.C.U./F.S.R.A. Formula 2 British Sidecar Championship in conjunction with our series sponsors for this year: ARC Newton Aycliffe, Lockside Engineering, Yorkshire Engine Supplies, Whitby Cottages, Pagid Racing and from the Isle of Man A.V. Craine and Sons. From all the registered competing teams and members of the F.S.R.A. a big thank you for your continuing support.

The fourth round of the A.C.U./F.S.R.A. British Formula Two Sidecar Championship will be hosted once again by the Wirral 100 club at the coastal circuit Trac Mon on Anglesey. This will be the tenth consecutive year that the FSRA have visited this venue. In the last two years the weather has played a major factor with one day being blisteringly hot and the next day torrential rain so let's hope the “weather gods” play fairly this weekend!

The third round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British Formula 2 Sidecar championship took place this past weekend at Donington Park, hosted by the North Gloucester Road Racing Club. With a changeable weather forecast everyone was hoping for a dry session and when qualifying took place half way through the day on Saturday the weather remained a little blustery, the track was dry and the overhead conditions cloudy.

It was a weekend of contrasting fortunes for Team A.R.C. at the third round of the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship at Donington Park. While John and Jake Lowther had their most successful weekend to date; their team mates Lee Crawford and Patrick Farrance had a meeting which was largely disappointing.
