The 2017 season will be a busier year than ever for Newton Aycliffe based Team A.R.C., who will be running two outfits, with the main focus being on the seven round A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Championship series.
Hoping to "go one better" in 2017 will be Lee Crawford and Patrick Farrance, who were runners up in last year's championship, improving on their sixth place in 2015. Campaigning the same L.C.R. Suzuki outfit that took them to a podium finish in every round they completed, the pair will start amongst the favourites for glory this season.
Running in an identical livery will be Scunthorpe's John and Jake Lowther, who made their full F.S.R.A. series debut in 2013, winning the "British F2 Cup" that year. The pair took part in only two British Championship meetings in 2016, but still finished in a very creditable tenth position, with an impressive third place at Anglesey being the highlight. The Lowthers will also be L.C.R. mounted, but with Honda power.
The team also intend to be in action at the four Oliver's Mount meetings, and other selected club events - including this coming weekend at Cadwell Park with the Auto 66 Club. Race reports and updates will be made regularly and posted on "Steve's Place" and social media.
