The 2024 Events calendar has been updated

We now have most of 2024 dates on. I have the French Championships to add and that will be about it.

We have World Championhip (as far as is confirmed), British, British FII, FSRA Pre Injection, BMCRC, CRMC, BHR, Isle of Man TT, S100 and Olivers Mount, Andreas, International Sidecar Trophy, Northern Sidecar Cup, IDM, Camathias Cup, Aintree, Darley, EMRA, Wirral 100, Scottish Championship with Marin Cup.
What have I missed? Maybe Tonfanau, will need to check.

Don’t forget that each event can be clicked on for information about the organisers and venue with links to each where possible, and you can select a list view, day view or my favourite the monthly overview.

If you DO spot any errors please don’t hesitate to get in touch and they will be corrected. There are 130 events listed so far, errors are likely to creep in and things will change as the season progresses.

R.I.P. Tim Langham, after a long illness and a brave fight in hospital.

At this time could we all please respect the family’s request for privacy.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

Jenny ‘Triker’ Wells. R.I.P Our friend.

It is with a great sadness that I have been asked to let everyone know that Jenny Wells has passed away this morning after a very short battle with cancer.

I am in a state of shock here. The last I heard from Jen was not that long ago when she was saying she wouldn’t be doing any more photography due to illness and then just days ago that she was too weak for treatment.

Jen my friend, you will be missed at race meetings.
Not only for the photos you loved taking and that were appreciated so much by so many, but for the proper laughs we had at circuits everywhere, if ever there was a chance to laugh at anything I got wrong you were always there.

Details of further arrangements will be posted when they are ready. I will see you all at The Revival

I’ll have one or maybe even two for you there Jen, and I won’t be alone in doing so. xx

The Events Calendar

I have finally updated the Events Calendar with as many meetings as I could find so far. Click on DATES in the menu.

Once you are in the month or list view you can click to open any events details. This will bring up links to the organisers, if we have their details, and a google map of the circuit location.

I have a handful more dates to be putting on but what is there now pretty much is how it’s going to be. If you find anything incorrect please do let us know and I’ll put it right.

Ok it’s not a new page, it’s an old page reborn, being rebuilt. If you have a business that makes bits, sells bits or organises things sidecar related – anything that could be useful and you want it on the page for free,
send me a line here with a logo (if you have one of course)
and a link to your site/facebook/twitter or phone number.

Have a look on the page as it is now, I’m currently slowly working my way through the list adding more content.
